Participation & Survey Results

On January 22, 2026, a community town hall was held to present information about potential incorporation and to hear questions and feedback from residents. The event was held in person and streamed online to maximize accessibility.

Attendance and survey results are shared below for transparency and informational purposes.

This represents a significant level of participation for a community the size of Niwot.

During the town hall, attendees were invited to complete a voluntary, non-binding survey to help gauge community sentiment and identify topics requiring further discussion.

Participation in the survey was optional. The results reflect responses from those who chose to participate and are not a scientific poll or a substitute for the statutory petition or election process.

n = 194 survey respondents

The results show that a majority of survey respondents are currently in favor of or leaning in favor of incorporation, with a substantial portion of respondents undecided and a smaller portion opposed or leaning opposed.

These results highlight both areas of support and topics where additional information and discussion are needed as the community continues this process.
